Bernard Coillot crafted the 2003 Marsannay Les Boivins, a wine much greater than the sum of its parts. A decade later, he bowled us over with his 2013 vintage. This wine is very distinctive and demonstrates amplitude, density and maturity It is the very essence of Côte de Nuits and the purest expression of Pinot Noir.
Rich, deep and smooth with a luxurious red and black cherry on the nose. Full, structured and backward gutsy with quite powerful richness in the mouth with juicy fruits. A lovely structured wine with a fantastic balance, the tannins are superb, especially for a Marsannay, lifting the fruit and adding great length.
