An iconic Brunello which seamlessly combines power and finesse. A deep ruby colour with light garnet hues. An intense and multifaceted nose of tobacco, soil and blackberries, spicy oak is also present - a testament to its ageing in Slavonian oak. The palate is wonderfully structured and dense. Plum, damson, black cherry, and raspberry combine with secondary pepper, liquorice and even balsamic notes. Firm tannins which will soften over time, drinking well now but can easily be stored for another 10-12 years.
