Having started out in the early 80's with only 15 acres of vineyard, Robert Sinskey Vinyards have grown to almost 200 acres of prime vinyards across Carneros. The farming and the wines themselves are all 100% organic. The Abraxas is an interesting blend of 35% Rielsing, 33% Pinot Blanc, 18% Pinot Gris and 14% Gerwurztraminer. Citrus, pear and white floral aromas are complimented by flint and spices. The palate is racy and vibrant with apple, pineapple, almond and a spicy/mineral finish. Perfect for drinking now but will develop in the bottle over a few more years.
