2014 was hard work for a lot of Chianti producers and it is a true testament the winemakers to be able to make such a great wine under difficult conditions. A warm winter, rainy summer and lower than usual temperatures presented quite a challenge, but after a highly selective manual harvest and a second selection in the winery only the best quality remains. A very complex and fruity nose with the classic signs of sour cherries. A full body with firm ripeness and great depth of quality. This award winning winery is showing that it is one of the best in the region.
