Tasting Notes:
The wine was neither clarified nor filtered. A pale ruby-red colour, complex aromas of cherry intermingled with notes of mushroom, earth and tea-leaf. gently aromatic, intense fruit with crisp acidity, medium body, elegant tannins and fine structure, a long finish with a hint of salt.
It’s very textured and velvety, with ultra elegant tannins!
This Pinot Noir from the Atacama Desert region along the banks of the Huasco river has impressive finesse. The wine is aged for 24 months in Burgundy barrels as the 5th wine before bottling. We have here a impressively cool Pinot on a frame of very fine tannins. Cherry notes mix with aromas of raspberry, mushroom and undergrowth. This Pinot Noir is an atypical Chilean wine! Look out! Very limited production to be discovered without delay!
