Winery Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch looks back on a winegrowing tradition of over 375 years, and for generations, its name has been synonymous for luxurious white wines from the Mosel.
This wine shows evolved aromas of dried apricot, candied citrus peel, honey, and delicate floral tones, supported by hints of caramel, spice, and gentle petrol typical of aged Riesling. The palate is luxuriously sweet yet finely balanced by vibrant acidity, offering layers of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and honeycomb with a long, elegant, and silky finish.
This style pairs wonderfully with blue cheese, foie gras, apple or pear tarts, lemon desserts, panna cotta, nut-based pastries, and rich fruit dishes; it can also be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative dessert wine.
