Region
Provence is located in the south-east of France, and extends from Avignon to Nice. Emblematic region of rosé wine, it is a historic vineyard because it is through it that the Greeks and then the Romans developed the vine in Gaulle. The rosé wine of Provence has acquired great notoriety. But this vineyard is also known for these great wines of Bandol, Cassis, Bellet which also produce rosé. Appellation
Côtes-de-Provence is a controlled designation of origin wine produced over a large part of the Provence vineyards, mainly in the Var department, in part of the Bouches-du-Rhône and even in the small town of Villars. -sur-Var in the Alpes-Maritimes.
PRODUCT DETAILS
A domain of more than 200 ha, founded in the 17th century. by the Count of Ramatuelle. Its olive groves were devastated by the great frost of 1956 and, thirty years later, the farm turned to vines. The property was acquired in 1998 by a German entrepreneur, Harmut Lademacher, whose daughter Claire married Prince Felix of Luxembourg in 2013. The same year, the couple took control of their Provençal stronghold.
