Made from a selection of the best wines from the vinyards of Casa Los Frailes. The richness of Tempranillo and the roundess of Monastrell are aided by the elegants and aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon to produce this intense dark cherry coloured wine. After a maceration process of 18 days for the Tempranillo and Cabernet, and 25 days for the Monastrell, it's aged in Hungarian oak for 12 months. Very powerful and elegant on the nose with aromas of black and red fruits enriched with dark chocolate and toasted spicy notes. Herbal notes and coffee start to appear on the palate, very well structured with refined notes of liquorice and spice with a persistant and complex finish. Pairs very well with lamb and game dishes.
