Briny with dusty barley, violets and hints of burnt wood on the nose. Some light medicinal notes, but the sweetness of the spirit balances well. Soft, milky and toffeed palate. A touch of salt gamely fights through. Long and salty finish with the peat finally breaking through the oak. Lovely nose and finish.
