Bruno Giacosa has always produced world class Barbaresco and Barolo and thankfully his skills have filtered down to this quality Dolcetto. Plenty of red and black fruits combine with floral aromas, spices and sun-warmed earth. The palate has a velvety feel with enough tannin and acidity to hold all these wonderful flavours together and lead to Dolcetto’s telltale Almond like finish. Akin to a darker Beaujolais Cru; complex, elegant and memorable.
