Domaine Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot Les Carretals Minervois 2016

The wine is dark in colour and has an intense perfume with cassis, mulberries, and  blackberries intermingled with chocolate and spicy floral notes. There are layers of fruit with mulberry and blackberry accented by a faint exotic nuance and a nice underlying spiciness. The wine is incredibly rich and supple while at the same time maintaining balance. It is structured with a long lingering finish.
