The Fenocchio Langhe Nebbiolo is sourced from vines that are on average 15 years old and growing in the Monteforte d’Alba region of Piemonte. Traditional vinification techniques are adopted and the wine is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks followed by six months in large Slavonian oak casks. Deep ruby red in colour the wine has an intense and fruity bouquet of plum and cherry. The palate is dry with good body and well balanced tannins, hints of liquorice and rose.
