A lovely deep, rich, and spicy wine. Made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Refosco grown in Friuli.
All hand-harvested between the end of September and mid-October, then they are de-stemmed, crushed and fermented separately; then colours and flavours are extracted from the skins, by careful and frequent pumping over and punching down.
Once fermentation is completed, the three musts are stored separately in used barriques.
