A lovely deep, rich, and spicy wine. Made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Refosco grown in Friuli.
All hand-harvested between the end of September and mid-October, the grapes are then de-stemmed, crushed and fermented separately. Colours and flavours are extracted from the skins by careful and frequent pumping over and punching down.
Once fermentation is completed, the three musts are stored separately in used barriques.
