VilaDelloPs Xarel-lo 2021

Xarel-lo is usually reserved for blending into sparkling wines such as Cava but it is a struggle to see why with wines like this. A very subtle nose of fennel and white fruit belies the full bodied, rich palate. There is a wonderful creaminess from the lees aging that this wine experiences with a healthy dose of white fruit and hints of anise that are balanced by the clean acidity leaving you wanting more.
