Kaiken Mai Malbec 2017

Mai is of our Vistalba terroir’s perfect expression of Malbec, for which we’ve selected grapes from our 125 year old vineyeard to make a unique and elegant wine, with great character. After ageing for 18 months in new French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle, the wine is silky and sensual, with nose with lifted spice and ripe fruit.

Attractive, ruby-red colour, with an extraordinary concentration of fruit, the wine possesses aromas of redcurrant, black cherry, and a hint of tobacco. A wine with big body, it’s rounded and velvety on the palate, with smooth tannins. A hint of vanilla and toast is followed by a long, smooth finish. A very elegant wine.
