Hamilton Russels Vineyards are widely regarded as one of the best producers from South Africa and there Pinots and Chardonnays are some of the best the ‘New World’ has to offer. The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley in Walker Bay has a wonderful maritime climate which is perfect for producing these iconic cool climate wines. After being barrel fermented and then barrel aged for 9 months we are left with a tight and minerally wine with great complexity. Pear and lime come to the forefront on the palate heading to a long finish with very good acidity. Elegant with great texture, definitely not to be missed.
